Chūn mián bù jué xiǎo,春眠不觉晓，Asleep in spring, I missed the dawn;
chùchù wén tí niǎo.处处闻啼鸟。everywhere, the cry of birds.
yè lái fēng yǔ shēng,夜来风雨声，In the night came the sound of wind and rain —
huā luò zhī duō shǎo.花落知多少。how many blossoms fell, who knows.
The last line has no question mark in Chinese and needs none: 知多少 leaves the counting undone, which is the poem.
