Conditional & Purpose Clauses: 要是…就, 为了…
1. 要是…就… (yào shi … jiù …) — If … then … Structure: 要是 + Condition + Subject + 就 + Result ✅ 要是明天下雨，我们就不去爬山了。(If it rains tomorrow, we won't go hiking.)
Compare: 如果 and 要是 are interchangeable in most cases; 要是 is more colloquial.
2. 为了… (wèi le …) — In order to / For the purpose of …
Structure: 为了 + Goal + Subject + Verb OR Subject + 为了 + Goal + Verb
✅ 为了健康，她每天跑步。(In order to be healthy, she runs every day.)
✅ 她为了学好汉语，每天练习两个小时。(She practices two hours daily in order to learn Chinese well.)
Contrast: 因为 explains reason (past/present fact); 为了 states purpose (future goal).
