Emphasis Patterns: 再也不、怎么都、X归X
再也不/没…了 = 'never again' — emphasizes a firm, final change after an experience: 这些年来，他再也不相信别人的花言巧语了。(All these years, he has never again believed others' sweet talk.)
怎么都/也 + V = 'no matter how' — emphasizes that an action fails or holds regardless of effort:
这道题他怎么算都算不对。(No matter how he calculates, he can't get this problem right.)
X归X，Y = 'granted X, but Y' — concedes X is true, yet Y still holds (colloquial contrast). The word X must repeat exactly, unmodified, on both sides of 归:
生气归生气，她还是原谅了他。(Granted she was angry, she still forgave him.)
Common mistake: modifying the second X in X归X (adding 了/很/着) — both repetitions must be bare.
