Modal Verbs: 敢 (dare) & 需要 (need)
敢(gǎn)="dare to",放在主要动词前面:主语+敢+动词(+宾语)。表示"尽管害怕或有风险,仍然有勇气做某事",常用否定式"不敢"。
对比:会/能/可以 表示能力或许可;敢 专门表示面对恐惧或风险时是否有勇气,跟能力、许可无关。
❌意思混淆:我不会说 (没有能力) 和 我不敢说 (没有勇气) 完全不同。
需要(xū yào)="need",后面可接名词或动词短语:主语+需要+名词/动词短语。表示客观、必要的需求,语气比"要"更正式、更客观。
对比:"要"(HSK1) 表示主观意愿(want/will);"需要"表示客观必要性,不一定是主观想要的。
✅我需要休息。(客观必要) vs ✅我要休息。(主观意愿,更随意)
